All sales made by Honey Lane Bakery are subject to the following terms and conditions. By ordering from us you accept these terms. Nothing contained within these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.


Should you wish to commission a bespoke design, please contact Jennifer who will explain the design process and discuss your requirements with you. Your bespoke design commission will include up to three design options including quotations. Once a design is agreed, an order specification will be sent to you to confirm the details of the commission.


Cakes will not be supplied without full payment made in advance. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost (minimum £30) is required to confirm all orders. The final balance, specified on the invoice, is due at least 14 days before delivery or collection. Payment can be made earlier if you wish. Orders placed less than 14 days in advance of delivery must be paid in full. In the event that full payment is not received within these timescales, subsequent completion of the order will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Honey Lane Bakery accepts no responsibility for any loss howsoever caused or for non-deliver under these circumstances. The Client will be responsible for the payment of any additional charges which have been incurred as a result of payment delay/failure. Payment can be made by BACS transfer, card payment over the phone, or cash.


All price quotes provided to clients are valid for 30 days from date of quotation. We reserve the right to review any prices documented on this website from time to time.


As your wedding/celebration cake booking is reserved solely for you and certain components for your cake/s my be ordered months in advance, the following conditions are implemented when an order is cancelled: More than 14 days notice 50% of the total cost will be payable. Less than 14 days notice 100% of the total cost will be payable.


Collection / delivery arrangements will be discussed at the time of booking. Delivery may incur an extra charge dependant on postcode and length of time required on site. It is strongly recommended that wedding cakes and larger celebration cakes are delivered in order for Jennifer to set them up on site. If cakes are collected we cannot be held liable for any damages occurred to the product once it has left our premises. All cakes are very fragile in transit and it is the responsibility of the buyer to drive slowly and carefully. Cakes should be placed on a flat, tidy surface on non-slip matting. If cakes are delivered we cannot be held liable for any damages occurred to the product once delivery and set up has been made. A signature will be required on delivery/collection to confirm safe receipt of the order.


Where possible every endeavour will be made to make any alterations to your original order specification. Depending on the alterations, additional costs may be incurred. These will be discussed with you prior to any alterations being made. While every effort will be made to assist Clients, please note that late changes cannot always be guaranteed.


Tasting consultations can be arranged at Jennifer’s studio in Henley on Thames with a maximum of two people attending. There is a non-refundable fee of £25, which includes up to three flavours of your choice. If you make an order following the tasting then the tasting consultation fee will be deducted from your final invoice. Alternatively, sample boxes can be posted directly for £30 (+ delivery). Payment by BACS transfer, card payment over the phone, or cash is due before consultations or boxes are sent out.


Please discuss any allergies or dietary requirements before making payment. Gluten free options are available however please be aware that all products are baked and prepared in a kitchen which handles all the main food allergens including nuts, gluten (wheat), dairy and eggs. Allergy information is provided with all cake orders. Unfortunately at this time we cannot cater for vegan, eggless or dairy free cakes.


Some cakes may contain non-edible ingredients such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes or wires in some sugar flowers. An information sheet will be provided with each order identifying these if applicable.


Please note that no person shall have entitlement to copy or reproduce in any form, or otherwise make use of any image, photograph, design or other document or item produced by or on behalf of Honey Lane Bakery without the prior written consent of Honey Lane Bakery.


By placing an order the Client agrees that Honey Lane Bakery is the sole designer and owner of the final cake design. All rights in any original designs created and designed by Honey Lane Bakery shall remain the exclusive property of Honey Lane Bakery. From time to time our designs are published in the media and are used for publicising and promoting Honey Lane Bakery. We reserve the right to use any image of a Client’s cake/product made by Honey Lane Bakery for publication after the delivery date unless previously agreed in writing between the Client and Honey Lane Bakery. The Client has no ownership rights over any cake design. Exclusivity of cake designs between our Client’s is not guaranteed unless the Client commissions an exclusive design.
